The Kiwanis Club of Greater Lawrence is proud to host the 2026 Kiwanis Bike Rodeo, a community event dedicated to helping children learn bicycle safety and ensuring kids have access to safe, reliable bikes and helmets.
For many children, a bike is more than just transportation—it’s freedom, confidence, exercise, and pure joy. With your help, we can put more kids on bikes and keep them riding safely.
Your donation directly supports bikes, helmets, and bicycle safety education for children in the Merrimack Valley.

More than 1,000 children from Lawrence and surrounding Merrimack Valley communities are expected to attend.
What Is a Bike Rodeo?
A bike rodeo is a fun, hands-on event where children learn essential bicycle safety skills while riding through an obstacle course that simulates real-world conditions.
Children will learn:
Rules of the road
Safe riding habits
Balance, control, and confidence
Safety instruction is provided with support from the MassDOT Safe Routes to School program, along with trained volunteers.
Our Goal
Our goal is to make sure every child leaves the Bike Rodeo safer and happier than when they arrived. This year, we aim to:
Provide 150–200 new and refurbished bicycles
Give every child a brand-new helmet
Repair bicycles on-site for children who bring their own bikes
To make this possible, we are raising $20,000, with 100% of donations supporting the Bike Rodeo.
Every dollar helps remove barriers and gives a child a safe way to ride, play, and explore.
